The AZMGA is happy to provide spawn and colonized grow bags to our members. They are offered at extremely low prices in order to remove some of the financial barriers to cultivators. At this time we are not able to ship grow bags and spawn, so pickup in Tucson is required. Send us an email and specify which species of mushroom you are interested and how many bags you'd like by sending us an email (contact link below). We will set you up with all the mycelium that you'll need to build a successful cultivation business! Membership in the organization is required to purchase spawn or grow bags. Enrolling is free—you can do so here.
Grain Spawn |
Grow BagsAlternatively, growers can purchase already-inoculated grow bags for $5.00 each. These bags are fully colonized with mycelium and are ready to be placed in a fruiting chamber to produce mushrooms. All of the species that are available as grain spawn are also available as grow bags. One grow bag can be expected to produce in excess of 1.5 lbs. of mushrooms.
